| If I'm testing a wire which has a connector on each side and two wires inbetween them would connecting a lead on one side on one wire and then the other lead on the other side but the other wire and not having continuity tell me there's no short in the wire? I'm getting an ABS front left and right wheel sensor SHORT code for my 1997 maxima. I've already tested the resistance to the sensors from their pigtail connectors and received 1600ohms (spec is 800-1200). Although the rear sensors have this ohm amount as well and aren't getting codes. So is it to say the wiring that connects the connector from the abs module and the connector that connects to the wheel sensor connector is good? Can I assume the code isn't so random code in which possibly the module is bad? Is it safe to assume the individual wheel sensor wiring, both left and right are bad? I was stupid and welded nut to a bolt that was stripped on the transmission and probably fried the abs wiring through the axles...even though the ground clamp was on the transmission...
